This alquitara consists of three fundamental parts: the boiler, the condenser or cap, and the cooler. It is made in two pieces, the boiler and the condenser-cooler.
The alquitara offers slow and aromatic distillation, resulting in a more refined and higher alcohol content distillate.
It has a capacity of 30 liters and a yield of 10-15%, which translates to obtaining between 3 and 5 liters per distillation.
It is made of 1 mm copper sheet, with a hammered finish. The handles and nuts are made of shiny brass and the joints are riveted.
In addition, it includes a large thermometer of 0-120º to control the distillation temperature, and a large alcoholmeter of 0-100º to measure the alcohol content of the distillate.
