The ECO Basic Distillation Kit for Advanced Users is a versatile and multipurpose setup designed for experienced distillers who want to work with both alcohol and aromatic distillation using the same equipment.

The ECO model is our economical option and is recommended for occasional or sporadic domestic use. Its configuration allows different types of distillation to be carried out depending on the raw material being processed.

🏺 20 L Multifunction Still

The kit includes a 20 L Multifunction Still, suitable for working with alcoholic ferments as well as plants and flowers for producing hydrosols and essential oils.

This configuration allows the same equipment to be used for different distillation applications, providing a versatile solution for experienced distillers.

🥃 Alcohol Distillation

For alcohol distillation, the boiler has a capacity of 20 litres and offers an approximate yield of 10–15% when working with a 10° alcoholic ferment.

This allows approximately 2–3 litres of product per distillation to be obtained.

🌿 Aromatic Distillation of Plants and Flowers

For aromatic distillation, the boiler has a capacity of 20 litres, while the column is designed to hold approximately 600 g of plants or flowers per refill.

When the plant material has released most of its essential oil, the column can be emptied and refilled during the same distillation.

🌸 This allows between 3 and 5 column refills per distillation, making it possible to process approximately 600–2000 g of plants or flowers per distillation.

The process can produce approximately:

💧 Hydrosol: 17–18 L per distillation.

🌸 Pure essential oil: 20–25 ml per distillation.

🔨 Still Construction

The Multifunction Still is made from 100% copper, using 1 mm thick copper sheet with a hammered finish.

The equipment features bright brass handles and nuts and riveted joints, following the ECO configuration intended for domestic use.

🥃 Large alcoholmeter, 0–100°: for measuring alcohol strength.

🧪 250 ml graduated cylinder: for use with the alcoholmeter.

🔥 Column separation grate: helps prevent blockages in the tube leading to the condenser.

🔥 Boiler separation grate: prevents solid material from sticking to the bottom of the boiler.

🧪 500 ml separating funnel: for separating the oil from the water.
