As a general guide, when distilling a fermented liquid with an alcohol content of approximately 10% ABV, the expected results are:

• Simple distillation without a rectifier: approximately 30–45 litres at around 45% ABV.
• With rectification: approximately 20–30 litres at around 75% ABV.

Actual output may vary depending on the raw material, fermentation strength and distillation conditions.
