Introducing the "100-liter PROFESSIONAL + GIN BOX Whiskey Alembic", a high-quality and high-performance product designed for distilling whiskey, gin, and rum.
This still is made of 2mm copper sheet with a hammered finish that gives it an elegant look. It also features bright brass handles and nuts, as well as welded joints to ensure durability.
One of the advantages of this still is its versatility, as it can be used for distillation with or without the botanicals box. We include a transfer tube that allows distillation without the botanicals box, providing greater flexibility to the user.
In terms of capacity and performance, this still has a total capacity of 110 liters and a useful capacity of 100 liters. The distillation time ranges from 3 to 4 hours, and the yield is between 10% and 15% of the useful capacity, which is equivalent to 10-15 liters per distillation. These performance data are based on a 10% alcohol ferment.
The still comes equipped with a series of accessories that facilitate its use and control.
It includes 2 thermometers 0-120º installed, one in the head to control the temperature of the transit gases, and another in the condenser to control the temperature of the refrigerant.
It also has a vertical thermometer 0-120º installed in the boiler to control the temperature of the mash, a pressure gauge in the boiler to control internal pressure, and an alcoholometer with thermometer to determine the alcohol content of the distillation.
In addition, a support for the alcoholometer is included, which allows for more convenient measurement of the distillation's alcohol content.
To ensure safety, the still has a safety valve in the boiler that prevents excessive pressure.
The brass fittings between the boiler and the head ensure a tight seal.
It also features a access door in the boiler, made of stainless steel, which provides easy access to the interior of the boiler.
Furthermore, it includes a discharge tube in the boiler with a 2" stainless steel or brass valve, which allows for safe discharge of excess product from the boiler.
The still comes with a professional gas burner TT-46 with a power of 20.29 kW, which can run on propane or natural gas.
It also includes iron stands for the boiler, GIN BOX, and condenser.
It also features the GIN BOX, an essential accessory for those who want to distill gin by vapor drag or infusion. It comes equipped with a botanical basket that allows for a unique flavor and aroma in the distillation.
Finally, a transfer tube is included to be able to distill without the GIN BOX.
