One of the standout features of this still is its versatility. It can be used with or without the included botanicals box, thanks to the included transfer tube. This allows for experimenting with different types of distillation and achieving exceptional results.
In terms of capacity and performance, this still has a total capacity of 450 liters and a usable capacity of 400 liters. The distillation time ranges from 6 to 8 hours, and the yield is between 10% and 15% of the usable capacity. This translates to a production of 40 to 60 liters per distillation, considering a 10% alcohol ferment.
The still comes equipped with a range of accessories that facilitate its use and control.
It includes 2 large thermometers 0-120º, installed, one in the head to control the temperature of the transit gases, and another in the condenser to control the temperature of the coolant.
It also features a vertical thermometer 0-120º in the boiler to control the temperature of the mash, a pressure gauge in the boiler to control internal pressure, and an alcoholmeter with thermometer to determine the alcohol content of the distillation.
In addition, it includes an alcoholmeter support, a safety valve in the boiler, and brass fittings to ensure a tight seal of the parts.
It also incorporates a access door in the boiler made of stainless steel, as well as a discharge tube with a 2.5" valve in stainless steel or brass to empty the excess product from the boiler.
As for the heat source, a professional gas grill TT-70 has been incorporated, which works with both propane and natural gas, with a power of 31.17 kw.
To ensure the stability and safety of the still, iron supports are included for the boiler, GIN BOX, and condenser.
It also includes the GIN BOX, with a basket for botanicals inside, allowing for steam distillation or infusion.
Furthermore, the comfort of the user has been taken into account by including a transfer tube that allows for distillation without the GIN BOX.
