This still has been manufactured with 2.5 mm copper sheet, hammered and with handles and brass nuts, ensuring its durability and resistance. Additionally, all joints are welded to ensure safe and efficient operation.
One of the standout features of this still is the inclusion of protective irons in the boiler, which protect the equipment and facilitate the turning of the excess product. This is especially useful for achieving optimal results in each distillation.
The still also features a head with a condenser, which promotes condensation and the passage of gases, resulting in higher quality distillate. This allows for high-quality and flavorful alcoholic beverages to be obtained.
Regarding capacities and yields, this still has a total capacity of 450 liters and a useful capacity of 400 liters. The distillation time ranges from 6 to 8 hours, and the yield is 10-15% of the useful capacity.
If a simple distillation without rectifier is performed, a yield of 40 to 60 liters of liquid with an alcohol content of approximately 45º can be obtained.
On the other hand, if the rectifier is used, the yield will be 30 to 40 liters with an alcohol content of approximately 75º. These yield data are based on a 10º alcoholic ferment.
The still includes several accessories that facilitate its use and control.
Among them are a large thermometer of 0-120º to control the temperature of distillation, a large alcoholmeter of 0-100º to measure the alcohol content, a support for the alcoholmeter, a discharge tube with a 2.5" valve in stainless steel or brass, to empty the excess product from the boiler, a 70 cm gas grill specific to this model, a rectification lens or refinement to purify the distillation and obtain a higher purity and alcohol content, and iron supports on the boiler and the condenser.
