Regarding its capacities and yields, the still has a total capacity of 450 liters and a useful capacity of 400 liters. The distillation time ranges from 6 to 8 hours, and the yield is between 10% and 15% of the useful capacity.
In simple distillations, without rectification, between 40 and 60 liters at approximately 45º alcohol are obtained. In distillations with rectification, the yield is 30 to 40 liters at approximately 75º alcohol. These yield data are based on a 10º alcohol ferment.
The still includes several accessories, such as a large thermometer from 0-120º to control the distillation temperature, a large alcoholmeter from 0-100º to measure the alcohol content, a stand for the alcoholmeter that facilitates its use, a separation grid to prevent solids from sticking to the bottom of the boiler, a 70 cm gas grill specific to this model, a rectification lens to purify the distillation and obtain a higher purity and alcohol content, and iron supports for turning over in the boiler and cooler.
