It includes a 2.5" threaded plug outlet in the boiler, although the stainless steel 2.5" discharge valve is not included.
As for its capacities and performances, this alembic has a total capacity of 550 liters and a useful capacity of 500 liters. The distillation time is approximately 6-8 hours. Additionally, its yield is 10-15% of the useful capacity, resulting in a production of 50-75 liters per distillation.
This alembic is ideal for simple distillations, without rectification, obtaining a yield of 50-75 liters at approximately 45º alcohol content. These yield data are based on a 10º alcohol content ferment.
In addition, this product includes a large thermometer of 0-120º to control the distillation temperature, as well as a large alcoholmeter of 0-100º to determine the alcohol content of the distillation.
