This alembic is made of 2.5mm copper sheet, with a hammered finish that gives it an elegant look. In addition, the handles and nuts are made of bright brass, and the welded joints ensure its durability.
The alembic has an outlet in the boiler with a 2.5" threaded plug, although it does not include the 2.5" stainless steel discharge valve.
Its total capacity is 450 liters, with a useful capacity of 400 liters.
The distillation time is approximately 6-8 hours, and its yield ranges between 10% and 15% of the useful capacity. This translates to a distillation of 40-60 liters per session.
To facilitate the control of distillation, this alembic includes a large thermometer of 0-120º and a large alcoholmeter of 0-100º. These instruments will allow you to know the temperature and alcohol content of your distillation.
