This still is made with 2.5 mm copper sheet, hammered and features bright brass handles and nuts, as well as welded joints to ensure durability.
As for its capacities and yields, this still has a total capacity of 450 liters and a useful capacity of 400 liters.
The distillation time is approximately 6-8 hours. The expected yield is 10-15% of the useful capacity, which is equivalent to 40-60 liters per distillation.
If a simple distillation without rectification is performed, around 40-60 liters at approximately 45º alcoholic content will be obtained.
On the other hand, if a distillation with rectification is performed, around 30-40 liters at approximately 75º alcoholic content will be obtained. These yield data are based on a 10º alcoholic ferment.
This complete still includes several accessories to facilitate the distillation process.
Among them is a large thermometer with a range of 0-120º to control the temperature during distillation.
Also included is a large alcoholmeter with a range of 0-100º to measure the alcohol content of the distillation.
In addition, an alcoholmeter holder is provided to facilitate graduation.
The still also features a specific 70 cm gas burner for this model, a rectification lens to purify the distillation and obtain a higher purity and alcohol content, iron stands for the boiler and condenser, and a 2.5" discharge tube with valve in stainless steel or brass to remove the excess product from the boiler.
