All joints are welded to guarantee durability. This still includes protection irons in the boiler, which facilitate the turning of the excess product and protect it during the distillation process.
It features a head with a condenser that improves condensation and the transit of gases, resulting in higher quality distillate.
Regarding its capacities and yields, the still has a total capacity of 110 liters and a useful capacity of 100 liters. The distillation time is approximately 3-4 hours. The yield ranges between 10% and 15% of the useful capacity.
In simple distillations without rectification, around 10 to 15 liters of alcohol at approximately 45º are obtained.
With rectification, 8 to 10 liters at approximately 75º are obtained. These yield data are based on a 10º alcoholic ferment.
The still comes complete with various accessories, such as a large thermometer from 0-120º to control the distillation temperature, a large alcoholometer from 0-100º to measure the alcohol content, a support for the alcoholometer, a separation grid to prevent solids from sticking to the bottom of the boiler, a 40 cm gas burner grid specific to this model, a rectification lens to purify the distillation and obtain a purer alcohol, and iron supports for turning in the boiler and the condenser.
