🍷 Liquid Wine Clarifier Kieselsol + Chitosan

Achieve cleaner, clearer and more transparent wine with this 2-component liquid clarifier, containing Kieselsol (Fining A) and Chitosan (Fining B).

🧪 This two-step treatment is designed for use once fermentation is complete, helping to promote the flocculation and settling of suspended particles and remaining yeast.

✨ How does it work?

🔹 1️⃣ Kieselsol – Fining A

Once fermentation is complete and the wine has been de-gassed, add the contents of Sachet 1, Kieselsol.

Stir gently, just enough to distribute the product evenly throughout the liquid, and leave to stand for 1 hour. ⏱️

🔹 2️⃣ Chitosan – Fining B

After 1 hour, add the contents of Sachet 2, Chitosan, and stir gently, just enough to distribute it evenly throughout the liquid.

Leave to stand for 24 hours to complete the clarification process. ⏱️

🍷 Once the treatment is complete, the suspended particles and yeast will have settled to the bottom, making it easier to rack the clear wine.

📝 Instructions for use

⚠️ Before using the clarifier, make sure that fermentation is completely finished and has remained stable for 24-48 hours.

1. 💨 De-gas the wine before adding the clarifier.
2. 🧪 Add the contents of Sachet 1 – Kieselsol / Fining A and stir gently.
3. ⏱️ Leave to stand for 1 hour.
4. 🧪 Add the contents of Sachet 2 – Chitosan / Fining B and stir gently.
5. ⏱️ Leave to stand for 24 hours.
6. 🍷 Carefully rack the wine, taking care not to disturb the sediment at the bottom.
