This model features a hinge that allows you to empty and reload the column when the essential oil from the plants or flowers is depleted, enabling you to load and unload the column 3 to 5 times per distillation.
The boiler capacity is 3 liters, with an approximate load of 300g of plants or flowers in the column. This means we can distill from 300 to 1500 grams of plants or flowers per distillation by loading the column 3 to 5 times.
The result of the distillation is 2 to 2.5 liters of hydrolate and 10 to 15 ml of pure essential oil.
The still is made of 1mm copper sheet, with a hammered finish, shiny brass handles and nuts, and welded joints.
The product includes a medium-sized thermometer (0-120º) to control the distillation temperature, a column separation grill to prevent obstructions in the tube leading to the condenser, and a boiler separation grill to prevent solid product from sticking to the bottom during direct distillations in the boiler.
