This model features a hinge that allows you to empty and refill the column when the essential oil from the plants or flowers runs out, enabling us to load and unload the column 3 to 5 times per distillation.
The boiler capacity is 5 liters, while the approximate load in the column is 400g of plants or flowers. This means that by loading the column 3 to 5 times per distillation, we can distill from 400 to 2000 grams of plants or flowers.
When performing the distillation, we will obtain 3 to 4 liters of hydrolate and 15 to 20 ml of pure essential oil.
The still is made of 1mm copper sheet, with a hammered finish, bright brass handles and nuts, and welded joints.
The product includes a Medium Thermometer 0-120º to control the distillation temperature, a Separation Grid for the column to prevent the plants from clogging the tube leading to the condenser, and a Separation Grid for the boiler to prevent solid product from sticking to the bottom of the boiler in direct distillations.
