The Pack of 5 Sachets of Liquid Wine Clarifier Kieselsol + Chitosan is a practical solution for carrying out several wine clarification treatments after fermentation.
Each treatment contains Kieselsol and Chitosan, which are used consecutively in a simple 2-step process to help remove suspended particles and yeast and produce cleaner, clearer and more transparent wine. 🍷
✨ 2-Step Clarification
- 1. Kieselsol Fining A: add first and gently distribute throughout the liquid. Leave to stand for 1 hour.
- 2. Chitosan Fining B: after the first hour, add the Chitosan and gently mix. Leave to stand for 24 hours.
📝 Directions for Use
Before using the clarifier, make sure that fermentation is completely finished and has remained stable for 24-48 hours.
- 💨 Degassing: degas the wine thoroughly before adding the fining agents.
- 🧪 Step 1 – Kieselsol: add 12.5 ml of Kieselsol per 23-25 litres of wine. Stir gently, just enough to distribute the product evenly. Leave to stand for 1 hour.
- 🧪 Step 2 – Chitosan: after the first hour, add 75 ml of Chitosan. Stir gently, just enough to distribute it evenly. Leave to stand for 24 hours.
- 🍷 Racking: once the clarification process is complete, carefully rack the clear wine into another container, leaving the sediment behind.
